Bato Balani Celebrates 45 Years by Honoring the Next Generation of Filipino Scientists

The Bato Balani for Science and Technology recently held the Bato Balani Science Investigatory Project (BBSIP) Challenge for School Year 2025–2026, recognizing outstanding student-led research from young scientists nationwide.
The Mabini Academy of Lipa was hailed as the champion. Runners-up included St. Mary’s Academy of Pasay, Inc.; St. Louis College (La Union); Saint Mary’s University JHS and SHS (Nueva Vizcaya); and St. Dominic College Basic Education (Cavite).
The event culminated in a March 21 Facebook livestream featuring the Bato Balani Science Excellence Awards, which honored top-performing students alongside the final round of the competition. The program also featured a segment of Pinoy Scientist Live! with Izrael Zenar Bautista of the Philippine Space Agency.
These activities are part of Bato Balani’s 45th anniversary celebration, highlighting its long-standing commitment to advancing science education in the Philippines.
